Inspirational Bible Verse 1

Hebrews 10:5-6
"Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. "

Here, Jesus is recognizing His body as a gift given so that the Father's will may be done. Animal sacrifices could not accomplish God's will, but the sacrifice of the sinless God-man, Jesus of Nazareth, could. It has the power to cleanse from sin so that a New Covenant, a whole new religious order, may be established based on a personal relationship—unparalleled in its intimacy—with our Creator.

Inspirational Bible Verse 2

Deuteronomy 32:4
"He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he."
Our God is a God of truth. He is the Rock, the immovable Foundation of this way of life. The Hebrew word for "Rock" indicates firmness, stability, and faithfulness. What would it be like to worship a God whose "truth" changed from time to time? Could such a God be trusted? There is nothing—absolutely nothing—false, deceitful, evasive, or variable in His character, His Word, or His example.

Inspirational Bible Verse 5

Genesis 1:9
"And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so."
This verses describe the events of the third creation day, on which God formed the ocean basins and the continental land masses. Geologic evidence shows that over time the great land masses have "drifted" across the face of the earth. Apparently, in this renewing of the earth, God configured the land masses to suit His plan for the families of humanity.

Inspirational Bible Verse 6

Deuteronomy 32:2
"Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants."

Speech equates to "teaching," so it includes God's Word, His commandments, His truth, and ultimately all of His instruction. Distill means to "run down," "flow," or "stream." This is a picturesque way of saying God sends His truth to cover the earth like dew!

Inspirational Bible Verse 7

John 13:12-15
"When he had finished washing their feet,he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them. "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you."

Because of their incessant bickering about who would be the greatest in the Kingdom, Jesus gave the disciples an object lesson designed to show them what their real position was under Him. He shows them that they must be willing to do whatever task — even the most menial — that is necessary for the good of their brothers.

Inspirational Bible Verse

2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"

Each Christian is a new lump of clay—being molded and shaped by a Master Potter! We are already physical and mortal, so He must be forming, creating something else in the image of God!
God's creative efforts did not end in Genesis 1. He merely reached a stage, a platform, from which springs the most important aspect of the creation. The new creation is the creation of a new order, a Family in His image—and not just physically, but also spiritually. He wants our minds and hearts in His image as well.

Inspirational Bible Verse 3

Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight"

These verses contain the first principle upon which all our work and hope depend. In every aspect of life, we must take God into account. We should seek His counsel regarding our home, community, work, and play. This is not an elective but an absolute necessity, so the relationship established through Jesus Christ influences our conduct to the point that it is according to His will.

Inspirational Bible Verse 4

1 John 1:9
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness"
God shows His faithfulness in keeping His covenant with those who submit to His will and in forgiving the sins of those who genuinely repent. In addition, His Word is eternally reliable and true.
